Trudon traces its history to 1643 — when the house supplied the court of Versailles and the churches of France with wax, and held the only “Royal Manufacture” title ever granted to a candlemaker. In 2007 the old name was reawakened as a luxury scented-candle house. The care remained: poured in Normandy, in the iconic dark-green glass with its golden crest. Candles like Ernesto, Abd El Kader, and Spiritus Sancti carry whole worlds inside them. Perhaps the most venerable candle you can light.

Since 2018 Trudon has supported the conservation of the European dark bee in Normandy, directing 4% of all sales of its “Cire” candle to the project.
