Turn the reeds every few days to refresh the scent, and use more or fewer of them to dial the strength up or down. When you switch fragrances — or once the reeds are saturated and the scent starts to fade — swap in a fresh set.

About the brand
Paolo Vranjes is a cosmetics chemist, and it shows. In 1983 he opened his “Antica Officina del Farmacista” in Florence and brought the precision of the laboratory to home fragrance. To this day it’s developed and made in Florence; the signature bottle echoes the dome of the Florence cathedral, its glass blown by Tuscan artisans. The best-selling Rosso Nobile smells of Tuscan red wine — warm, fruity, a little festive. Italian luxury that takes a room seriously.
