A powerful aroma of aloeswood with a lightly spicy touch of patchouli, harmonized with sandalwood. Aloeswood — also called agarwood or oud — has been prized since antiquity, one of the most pleasing aromas of all. For years the wood rests in quiet communion with the earth before developing its exquisite, mysterious scent. Jinkoh means “wood that sinks”: the agarwood is so saturated with resin that it drops rather than floats in water.

Light the tip, let it flame for a moment, then blow it out so the ember glows and releases its scent into the room. Set the stick in a holder that catches the ash, keep it on a heat-resistant surface, and never leave it burning unattended.
About the brand
Tierra Zen, founded in 1989 in Tortosa, Catalonia, was the first to bring Nippon Kodo’s Japanese incense to Spain — the house that has made incense since the sixteenth century. That long friendship became kinship: since 2022 Tierra Zen has belonged to Nippon Kodo. What it gathers is everything that invites stillness — incense and burners, singing bowls, meditation cushions, palo santo, sage. Earth and Zen: grounded and lifted at once. Rituals for a quieter everyday.
