In the 1920s Ciro was a name between New York and the Place Vendôme: extravagant Art Deco perfumes in Baccarat flacons. Then, around 1961, the house fell silent. In 2018 a Hamburg perfumer brought it back — but not as a museum piece. The old, sonorous names like Chevalier de la Nuit and Le Chypre du Nil stay; the perfume inside is newly composed, highly concentrated, in the old spirit yet made for now.
