Finnish weaving for bath and sauna — bathrobes from their own mill.
“Lapuan Kankurit” simply means “the weavers of Lapua.” In this small town in western Finland, the Hjelt family has been weaving for generations, with roots going back to 1917. For bath and sauna, that means bathrobes and towels in Nordic wool and washed European linen, often created with young designers.
Lapuan Kankurit uses OEKO-TEX-certified materials, mulesing-free wool and traceable European linen (“Masters of Linen”).
