The scent of Positano’s Le Sirenuse hotel — an Italian Grand Tour in perfume.
Eau d’Italie began as the house scent of the legendary Le Sirenuse hotel in Positano, created by Marina Sersale — whose family has run the hotel since the 1950s — and Sebastián Álvarez Murena. The first fragrance, composed in 2004 with Parisian perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, captures the feeling of a summer on the Amalfi Coast: warm stone, wild herbs, citrus blossom, a hint of frankincense. What followed is a kind of Grand Tour of Italy, one scent at a time.
