“Varanasi” is a perfume inspired by the spiritual and sensual atmosphere of the Indian city. It captures the sacred and profane scents of Varanasi—opening with spicy notes of saffron, nutmeg, and cardamom, followed by a floral heart of roses and jasmine. Animalic notes of ambergris, frankincense, and oud lend the fragrance depth and mystique. An olfactory journey that reflects the contrasts and spirituality of this unique city.

Perfume comes alive on warm pulse points — the neck, the wrists, behind the ears. A few sprays will carry it through the day, its facets opening up on the skin little by little. You can spritz it on clothing too, where it often lasts even longer — just keep it off delicate fabrics like silk.
About the brand
Meo Fusciuni is the pen name of Giuseppe Imprezzabile, born in Sicily, an herbalist and chemist by training — and a traveler, reader, and poet. In 2010 he began making perfumes the way one writes poems: for him the word comes first, the molecule after. His scents appear in cycles and trilogies, each a chapter of his own life — the trilogy of the journey to Istanbul, Marrakech, and his Sicilian home, the cycle of poetry around Notturno and Luce. Handmade in Italy, in small batches. Perfume as autobiography.
