This fragrance is built around a matcha accord, inspired by the matcha latte. Maebh McCurtin, the perfumer behind it, drew on the ritual of matcha tea with milk, capturing its soft, creamy notes.

Obvious makes its scents in France, fills them into recycled and recyclable glass with cork caps, keeps packaging largely plastic-free, and uses organic alcohol.
About the brand
David Frossard spent half a career in niche perfumery — and eventually grew tired of inflated stories, overloaded bottles, and sky-high prices. In 2020 he founded Obvious in Paris: scents that say what they are. Une Rose is a rose, Un Musc a musk, Un Bois a wood — clearly drawn, honest, unmasked. You can collect your order at Duft und Kultur, Tuchlauben 17, 1010 Vienna, during opening hours. It's usually ready the same day, the next at the latest – we'll email you as soon as it is.

You have 14 days to send an order back – unopened, you get the full price back.
