About the brand

David Benedek grew up in a Parisian family that was already selling perfume in the 1950s. In 2016 he founded his own brand, based near the Palais-Royal. BDK sees itself as a library of scents: each bottle comes in a case like the spine of a book, and side by side they form a small encyclopedia. The brand made its name above all with Gris Charnel.

Sustainability

The cases are made from recycled paper that is dyed all the way through and printed with inks of natural origin.
