Mariage Frères

In 1854, the brothers Henri and Édouard Mariage founded their tea business in Paris; by then the family had already been trading tea and spices for generations. For a long time, Mariage Frères supplied only hotels and fine food shops — it wasn’t until the 1980s that it opened its doors to the public, with salons de thé and the black tins people still recognize today. There are hundreds of teas, led by Marco Polo with its scent of fruit and flowers.
