Boucherouite are handwoven rugs traditionally made by Berber women in Morocco. The term “Boucherouite” comes from the Berber language and literally means “scraps of fabric”. These rugs are crafted from recycled textiles such as cotton, wool, and synthetic materials, often sourced from old garments, fabric remnants, and other textiles.
