The first time you light a candle, let it burn until the entire wax surface has melted — this ensures an even burn and prevents tunneling. Trim the wick to about 3–4 mm before each burn. Always place the candle on a heat-resistant surface, and never leave it burning unattended.

Christian Tortu turned French floristry on its head: away from the stiff arrangement, toward wild bouquets of leaves, moss, twigs, and fruit.
