The first time you light a candle, let it burn until the entire wax surface has melted — this ensures an even burn and prevents tunneling. Trim the wick to about 3–4 mm before each burn. Always place the candle on a heat-resistant surface, and never leave it burning unattended.
About the brand
Before Annick Goutal created fragrance, she played concert piano and modeled in front of the camera. In 1981 she founded her own house in Paris and composed scent like memory — of people, places, books. The same hand runs through her scented candles: warm, literary, never loud — from Provence to golden autumn woods to velvety amber. After her death, her daughter Camille and the perfumer Isabelle Doyen carried the house on. Made in France. A candle that tells a room rather than just scenting it.
