Aloeswood — also called agarwood or oud — has been prized since antiquity, one of the most pleasing aromas of all. For years the wood rests in quiet communion with the earth before developing its exquisite, mysterious scent. Jinkoh means “wood that sinks”: the agarwood is so saturated with resin that it drops rather than floats in water.
